My mother, Lucy, is currently a caregiver for my elderly grandfather, who is living with dementia. Caring for someone you love is incredibly meaningful, but it can also be emotionally demanding. In the midst of those days, Lucy my mom found a creative escape in crocheting.

Crocheting gives her a quiet place to let her mind wander, create, and simply be herself for a little while. What began as a creative outlet has turned into these beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces, each handmade by her with patience, care, and love.

Every loop and stitch represents time spent creating something joyful during a season of life centered around caring for someone else.
